Carr Golf today announced that it is managing golf course maintenance operations at Thurles Golf Club following the start of a multiyear partnership in May.
The popular club in County Tipperary selected Carr Golf to oversee agronomic activities, staff development, regulatory compliance, asset acquisition, and the implementation of new maintenance management software.
Thurles is the 22nd venue to join the ever-growing Carr Golf portfolio.
Significant improvements
Through 12 data-backed key performance indicators (KPIs), the partnership aims to elevate golfer experiences and customer satisfaction by enhancing course performance and presentation.
The custom plan has already delivered significant improvements, with KPI scores increasing by 17 percentage points, from 60% to 77%.
Resource and labour-hour models have also been developed to boost productivity and operational efficiency, supporting the long-term financial and environmental sustainability of maintenance operations at Thurles.
